Commercial Surveillance

By providing products that continuously monitor streams of surveillance video, SIG is improving the security of assets for commercial interests and enabling adaptive marketing to time-evolving customer patterns and preferences.

Casino Surveillance

Gaming establishments (casinos) are highly motivated to invest in state-of-the-art surveillance infrastructure that maximizes video coverage within the casino to protect both their assets and their integrity. These video surveillance systems are monitored by human operators and designed to enable simple interpretation of activities, events, etc. Operators are expensive however, so there is typically a dramatic mismatch between the number of operators and the number of active video streams. By providing continuous and ubiquitous monitoring of every video stream, video analytics offers the opportunity to effectively multiple the number of operators for a fraction of the cost and therefore enhancing the security of a casino’s assets and integrity.

Retail Video Analytics

Video from in store surveillance systems in retail locations are typically employed forensically as evidence when an event of interest (e.g. theft) occurs inside or just outside of the store. By integrating modern video analytics software with inventory databases and point of sale systems, video analytics can provide the capability to optimize operations, marketing, and inventory. The principal objective is to automatically identify shopping activities of individuals, link with inventory and point of sale information, and provide other contextual information to optimize these critical elements of any retail business.
